Why Volunteer?
Volunteers play an integral part in the day to day running of Ardgowan Hospice, and we depend on their support immensely.
Over the years 350 volunteers have been recruited to assist at Ardgowan in a variety of roles. Many of them have since moved on to University, paid employment or completed the work experience component of projects such as Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
We highly value the support given by each volunteer. If you can spare a few hours each week, you can help make a difference.
But what’s in it for you?
Volunteers give their time for a variety of reasons. Some recognise the need in the community; others have time to spare; young people want experience; retirees have a lot to offer – they all want to help!
