Become a Volunteer

Ardgowan Hospice has and continues to benefit from the hours spent each week, kindly donated by the people of Inverclyde, working in all areas of the Hospice.

Volunteers play an integral part of the day to day running of the Hospice. In fact, last year, volunteers worked more than 60,000 hours.

Over the years 350 volunteers have been recruited to assist at Ardgowan in a variety of roles. Many of them have since moved on to University, paid employment or completed the work experience component of projects such as Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

Everyone at Ardgowan Hospice would like to extend a huge thank you to each and every one of them for the amazing efforts they put in day in day out and for the quality of the work and care they provide.
