Picture Inverclyde

Picture Inverclyde is a book published by Ardgowan Hospice containing one hundred positive pictures of the Inverclyde area that were taken by the Inverclyde Camera Club and various schoolchildren who won a photographic competition.

The book has proven to be very popular with many of the 500 purchased so far fi nding their way to relatives and friends in America, Canada, and Australia.

 

The Hospice, supported by the Inverclyde Camera Club and Word & Image (Scotland), is proud to have produced a book which portrays Inverclyde in a very positive manner with 80% of any profi t made coming directly to the Hospice and 20% to the Inverclyde Camera Club.

Books, priced £9.99 are available in both Hospice receptions and in the four Hospice shops in Gourock, Greenock, Port Glasgow and Kilmacolm.

Jacqui Mackenzie of Riverside Inverclyde, who were involved in the initial exhibition which led to the production of the book said, “This book is a further means of promoting to audiences near and far the many assets Inverclyde has.”
