Your school can really make a difference to the lives of people being cared for by Ardgowan Hospice

Your school can help by organising fundraising activities throughout the year.  For example, you could promotoe your own pop concert, organise a sports day or turn your Christmas concert into a fundraising opportunity.  You could ask your teachers if you can be sponsored to hold a non-uniform day or a more adventurous dress outragiously day!  There are lots of ways to have fun and raise money - click here for some ideas.

Many schools adopt Ardgowan Hospice for a year of fundraising and their enthusiasm has been fantastic.  We can provide speakers who will visit your school and talk about the work we do.

Other schools collect stock for our Charity Shops.  We'll supply some stock bags that everyone can fill with good quality second hand clothing.  We will then arrange a day to collect the bags and distribute them to our chain of shops.  Collecting stock is a valuable contribution to the Hospice - each bag is worth on average £20.
