Ardgowan Hospice has to work to standards set by the Scottish Government.

The Hospice is inspected by the Care Commission twice a year.

To help with the inspection process, we have to provide proof that the quality of service for patients and families meets the required standards. • As part of the process of quality assurance, the views of patients are actively sought.
• A patient and user involvement group meets twice yearly to provide feedback on aspects care provision.
• A survey of community patients’ and carers’ views is carried out every year.
• Patients within the In Patient Unit are asked for their views on a regular basis.
