Coming to terms with a serious illness can be extremely distressing and difficult.

Ardgowan Hospice employs over 400 staff and volunteers, covering a wide range of disciplines to ensure that we provide care, understanding and support to those diagnosed with a life limiting illness.

Our staff and volunteers pride themselves on making a real difference in people’s lives and contributing to the care of the Inverclyde community.

In fact, Ardgowan Hospice was recently voted one of the top employers in the UK by the Nursing Times unique survey of Top 100 organisations for nurses to work. Our nurses described the morale-boosting culture of personal development and education as very useful tools in promoting the highest standards of care. The multi-disciplinary teams also allow the organisation to take a more holistic approach to care of patients and their families.
