Top Marks
Ardgowan Hospice in has again been votedone of the top 
employers in the UK by the Nursing Times unique survey of theTop 100 organisations for nurses to work. This is a fantastic achievement for the staff here in Greenock who are the only Scottish hospice to make the list.
Nursing staff at Ardgowan were surveyed on the following topics:
- How well does the organisation manage personal training and development?
- Is it a family-friendly employer?
- Do flexible working arrangements encourage staff retention?
- Does it promote equality and diversity in your nursing workforce?
- How strong is the nursing voice within the organisation?
The Top 100 is considered by those in the profession as a benchmark of employment excellence.
Dorothy McElroy, Ardgowan Hospice Chief Executive commented: “We are delighted to find ourselves in the Nursing Times Top 100 again this year, another outstanding achievement that makes us all particularly proud. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who participated in the survey and also to the organisation as a whole. We will certainly endeavour to further improve our placing next year.”
